“The role of people with disability”

It is not today that roles of disabled people are offered to actors who do not have disabilities. Unforgettable performances are an example, like Sean peen in A Love Lesson or Dustin Hoffman in Rain Man, but nothing beats the experience of seeing an actor with a disability on the screen. Films like “Chromosome 21”, “The Colleagues” and “Dafne” are mirrors of which the starring has evoked discussions decisive for inclusion and visibility for those born with some genetic condition. In addition to its role of entertainment, cinema has determined a safe path in favor of diversity, with the aim of provoking people’s reflection and enforcing human rights
