The 19th Los Angeles Brazilian Film Festival brings new Brazilian features, documentaries and shorts, plus international shorts, a kids screening and a series premiere. Every screening is at The Culver Theater, with filmmaker Q&As, panels and two gala nights.
Opening Night · Sun, Nov 1
Gugu’s World, Brazil’s Oscar contender. Red carpet 5:00 PM, film 7:45 PM.
Closing Night · Thu, Nov 5
Five Kinds of Fear at 6:00 PM, then the awards announcement at 8:30 PM.
Keep the Hub open during the festival. It has the live program, every trailer, and the ballot for the Audience Award.
The audience picks the Best Fiction Feature Film. Vote in the Festival Hub after each screening.
