“Alien Nights” exposes an urban Amazon, where the ancestrality of traditional native inhabitants resists the contemporaneity that insists on denying the forest. With fantastical narrative elements, the film presents the story of three characters from the outskirts of Rio Branco, all impacted by the conflict between criminal factions and by urban violence, which, in the last ten years, has almost tripled the murder of children and young people in the state of Acre.
