Based on the true story of the Colony Asylum in the State of Minas Gerais, Brazil. In the early 1970s, the young girl Elisa is sent to this mental institution by her father as a punishment for getting pregnant from her boyfriend, before getting married to the man she was promised to. During her imprisonment she makes friends, tries everything to escape until she is punished, isolated from the others, and receives electroconvulsive therapy. After leaving the isolation, she struggles to find a way out of that piece of hell.
